Big Knob State Forest

Big Knob State Forest campground is Located 14 miles SW of Naubinway on the shores of Lake Michigan. This is a rustic campground mainly for tent and small trailers but a few sites can accommodate a trailer up to 40ft. The sandy beach, with the lakes shallow waters, offers great swimming in the summer sun and there are numerous trails for both hiking and biking. This whole area is full of wildlife viewing including bald eagle nesting areas. The campground does not take reservations, it is on a first-come first-serve basis.

6 pit toilets, tables and fire pits at each site, hand pump water near the picnic area, no waste station or showers.
