Camp Potatoes and Cheese
Ingredients Needed for the Recipe
- grated Parmesan cheese (1/4 cup)
- shredded mozzarella cheese (3/4 cup)
- sliced potatoes (6)
- shredded Cheddar cheese (3/4 cup)
- diced onion (1/4 cup)
- cold margarine (2 tablespoons)
- salt
- ground black pepper
- non-stick spray
- heavy duty foil
Cooking instructions:
Rake some coals into a flat bed on one side of your camp fire, then cut two lengths of heavy duty foil about 18 inches square, and place one on top of the other for extra strength. Now spray the top foil and start spreading the potatoes on the foil. Add the onion and some margarine over the potatoes and layer the mozzarella and the parmesan, plus the cedar cheese. Season everything with salt and pepper and close the edges of the foil. Seal the foil and put the packet onto the camp fire; leave it there for about 15 minutes and you’re ready to serve.
