Chicken Fajitas on the Grill
Ingredients Needed for the Recipe
- chicken breast (1 lbs)
- fajitas seasoning (1 pkt)
- Shredded Cheese
- Tortillas Salsa (6)
- Salsa
- Guacamole
- Sour cream
- bamboo skewers (6)
- green pepper (1)
- red pepper (1)
- Onion (1 medium)
- Tomato (1 large one)
Cooking instructions:
Remove the bones and the skin off the chicken breast and cut it into strips. Remove the green pepper’s seeds and cut it into strips. Cut the large tomatoes into slices and the medium onion into strips. Use a large bowl and fill it with 3 cups of water, add the fajita seasoning and mix it well. It’s time to add the chicken strips and let them marinate in the refrigerator for about 5 hours. As you can see, this is a recipe you actually need to precook before leaving for camp, but you could also use your cooler and prepare everything in the wild.
Take a bamboo skewer and start loading it with pieces of chicken, onion, tomatoes and peppers. Fire up the grill and place the skewers on it, letting them cook for about 15 minutes on one side. Then take a tortilla, remove all the ingredients from the skewer and put them onto the tortillas. Add sour cream, salsa, guacamole and cheese and you’re ready to eat a delicious and nutritious meal.
