Mueller State Park, in the Colorado Pikes Peak Country, is approximately 30 miles from Colorado Springs. It boasts 5,000 acre’s with 55 miles of trails varying from short, leisurely walks to challenging, full-day hikes with biking. This beautiful State Park is a popular wildlife area with elk, black bear, hawks, and mule deer.

Number of sites
132 campsites 17 of these are open for winter camping. The campground can accommodate motor homes, trailers and tents.

Camping season
The campground sites reservable dates are from approximately mid-May through mid-October. The exact dates change each year. Winter from mid October until mid May.

Mueller State Park Attractions
Modern restrooms, coin operated showers, coin laundry are centrally located in the campground. The dump station is located at the entrance. There is also a small playground, amphitheatre and summer interpretive programs. Showers, laundry and potable water are not available in the winter. The Comfort Station with modern bathrooms and several vault toilets are available during the winter camping season.
